What is the cost of a Planning Application?

Our planning application fees for listed buildings and heritage properties are provided following a free site consultation. This allows us to accurately assess the scope of works and provide a tailored quotation based on the complexity of your project, including replacement windows, doors, and other timber items.

How long does it take to submit a Planning Application?

We normally take three to four weeks from the date of the site survey to submit your planning application. Larger or more complex applications may take longer, for example where additional specialist reports are required. Once submitted, the Planning Department aims to issue a decision within eight weeks for minor applications — which is where replacement windows and doors sit — and within 13 weeks for major applications. These are target times rather than statutory deadlines.

How does payment work?

Payment is required in full prior to the site survey being carried out and before work on the planning application begins. We do not currently offer instalment plans.

For our maintenance and repair services in Jersey, we require upfront payment for materials. Labour is then invoiced weekly based on an agreed hourly rate. In some cases, a fixed price may be agreed depending on the nature of the project.
